Location of the Month - Prague

Expert, No Hassle Solution to Party Planning

February 2017 - Location of the Month:

02/02/2017
For February’s ‘location of the month’. We chose…. Prague.

Admittedly it was a romantic choice. Hey, we are in the wedding industry after all and Valentine’s Day is a feature of any February calendar.

Prague is just magical in the winter months. Without doubt it’s spell-bindingly beautiful and expect snow to add to the allure of this jewel in the Czech’s crown.

So wrap up warm and get out there to discover all its charms for yourself. Hens, stags and birthday parties welcome, but really no excuse required.

Your tourist trail should include: the famous Prague Astronomical Clock, the winding lanes of the Jewish Quarter, the gothic Charles Bridge and Prague Castle.

The combination of restaurants, sightseeing, opera and intoxicating nightlife help to give Prague the reputation of being one of the most beautiful party destinations in the world.

So I shouted out to the Team “hands up who has Prague on their ‘must visit’ list?” Interestingly all hands shot up EXCEPT Becs and Kathryn. Why? Well they’d both been before of course!

Becks – Accounts Manager – says:
"I did go to Prague for my Hen weekend. There were about 16 of us and I would say, as we were a very mixed group, Prague’s diversity was key. There is something for everyone to enjoy. Largely we partied hard in the clubs, sampled some excellent expensive restaurants in the evening. Ate cheap during the day, exploring the markets and riverside. We explored the city’s architecture and some in my group booked to see an Opera! They said it was fantastic. This was while the rest of us went on a ghost tour of the city”.

Kathryn – Marketing Manager – says:
“Prague is one of my most favourite places. In the winter, the city looks like it’s been sprinkled with glitter; it’s really cold but beautifully magical. Contrastingly, the summer is hot; reaching up to 30c. The city is lined with cafes with outdoor seating, waiting for you to chill out with a pint. The waterpark just outside the Prague is a great spot if you love waterslides or bobbing along the lazy river.

The Czech know their beer and they know how keep you fed. Fried cheese is often on the menu in the pubs – anything in breadcrumbs and fried is always good but this really is a treat.”

For Prague Hens we recommend seeing the sights with a Boat Cruise or alternative sights with a Limo Stripper.
For Prague Stags we recommend a Bar Tour followed by Steak and Strip.
For Prague Birthdays we recommend taking a tour: Bike Tour, Traditional Meal or Sightseeing Tour are all excellent.
