London Hen Weekends

Anticipating the thrills and spills that only a Capital City can offer? Then look no further than a hen weekend in London for fun and excitement, glamour and glitz.

Allow Freedom to organise your hen weekend London to perfection so you and your heavenly hens can hit London with true style and panache. Whether it’s chic sophistication, wild partying on a Saturday night or a more cultural event that’s your thing, your Freedom hen party London will truly fit the bill.

Welcome to the country’s most cosmopolitan and cultural city, one of the world’s top tourist destinations. With so much on offer, the only difficulty for your hen party in London is fitting it all in.

With a survey declaring London as the ‘Capital of the World’, beating close rivals New York and Paris, all the girls cannot fail to be utterly impressed. It is a world-class city catering for all tastes and budgets, offering not only premier shopping and nightlife, but also heritage, beautiful architecture, fabulous parks and open spaces, galleries and museums, theatres and unrivalled attractions. Perfect for your hen weekend London.

Being a major global player, London is a world leader in business, culture, politics and finance, as well as entertainment, arts, media and fashion. It is these factors that all contribute to its utter charm and vibrancy and will ensure your hen party London is the best choice.

London is the largest urban area in the United Kingdom, having an extremely diverse range of cultures and religions in its population, where over 300 languages are spoken. It is not difficult to appreciate the extent of London’s cultural appeal from Oxford Street and Camden to Shoreditch and Brixton.

It boasts four World Heritage Sites: The Tower of London; Westminster; The Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew; and the settlement of Greenwich. And having many royal palaces and residences, no hen party in London would be complete without the anticipation of spotting one of our handsome royal Princes around town.

Central London is one of the world's three largest financial centres, the others being New York and Tokyo, with financial transactions including fund-management and foreign equities trading. It also has the world's largest insurance market, the leading exchange for dealing in non-precious metals, the largest spot gold and gold lending markets, the largest ship broking market, and innumerable foreign banks and investment houses. London's new financial and commercial hub is the Docklands area in East London. The UK’s national government resides in the City of Westminster, housed within the glorious buildings of the Houses of Parliament.

The city’s appeal is enhanced by having the River Thames winding its way through the centre, allowing for superb walks or even better, sight-seeing on the water enjoying a glass of wine or dinner on one of the many boat trips on offer.

The West End is London’s main entertainment and shopping district. As proud as we are of our heritage and monarchy, your London hen parties absolutely must involve a spot retail indulgence. There is no doubt you can shop till you drop in the West End, collapsing finally at one of its many sassy bars and restaurants. The thrills of Theatre-land can also be experienced here on your hen night London.

If you like to dream of being rich and famous, why not hop in a taxi down to West London, one of the most fashionable and expensive residential areas in Europe, where Knightsbridge, Notting Hill and Chelsea are to be found. Properties here can sell for tens of millions of pounds. London is home to designers Vivien Westwood, Galliano, Stella McCartney and Jimmy Choo. Hen nights in London are incomplete without a little celeb spotting and chances are, here you could be in luck.

Of course, no weekend away within the British Isles would be complete without paying due consideration to our inclement weather. London has a temperate climate like the rest of the United Kingdom, the warmest month being July. As it is such a large city however, it does have its own microclimate making it markedly warmer than the rest of England, especially in the Underground where temperatures are ten percent higher than above ground – particularly unpleasant on a hot summer’s day!

This city has everything a girl could ask for on London hen nights, so come on, no holds barred, follow Freedom’s step-by-step guide and organise the most magical time of your life.
