Travel is back
After a difficult couple of years, Travel has bounced back
. After so many cancelled weddings, postponed bookings and events being put on hold, we have well and truly got reasons to celebrate.
The rollout of the vaccination programme and boosters means we can get back to doing exciting things with friends. July 19th 2021 also known as ‘Freedom Day’ (we love the name), marked the lifting of almost all Covid restrictions meaning the party can well and truly get started. With rearranged weddings and celebrations already getting back into full swing, the essential hen and stag weekends can be booked and enjoyed to their fullest. 2022 has seen a record number of weddings confirmed and that means a record number of hen and stag events!

Questions & Answers...
I am due to travel in 2022, what should we do?
Your booking is still in place and still going ahead as planned. You and your group should continue to pay for the weekend as normal by the balance due date. Group leaders only can contact us via your Freedom VIP area or by emailing email@example.com
. Response times may be a little slower than normal so please be patient.
A member of my party have tested positive/been required to self-isolate as a close contact?
In case you or a member of the group tests positive for Covid-19 or are contacted by NHS Track and Trace and unable to travel, please notify us. If the event is able to go ahead as planned, we unfortunately would not be able to offer refunds on any monies paid as per agreed booking terms. We may be able to offer a name change free of charge if there is someone who is able to take their place or supply required documents to assist with an insurance claim.
Can we postpone our weekend to a later date?
As per booking terms and subject to availability, you can postpone your weekend anytime up until the balance due date 6 weeks prior to travel for Package weekends or 12 weeks prior to travel for Party House bookings. The per person deposits are lost for us to cancel existing booking and rebook and move all attendee details to new booking. We will work hard to ensure price of event are the same but seasonal variations may lead to a price change for which we will notify you before booking is changed.
My final balance is due, should I pay as normal?
Yes, if your weekend balance due date passes without payment you could put your booking at risk and lose everything you have paid. It is important to remember that if your balance payment doesn’t reach us by the balance due date, we will have to treat the booking as cancelled by you to avoid being beholden to pay contracted partners. You will not be entitled to any refund.
We have an overseas booking, but the country we are travelling to requires all group members to be vaccinated?
A countries ‘rules of entry’ is not a significant change to travel and doesn’t impact your actual time on holiday. As your package is able to go ahead as booked, no refund would be due if your destination requires vaccination as a term of entry. However, Freedom booking terms do allow for a postponement to a later date or a change of location (subject to availability).
What if we need Covid Passports for venues?
Some venues, such as nightclubs, may require Covid passports to gain entry, so you will need to ensure your group have these before travel. We are unable to refund elements of a package if any members of the group are unable to gain entry without Covid passport.
Should I book my weekend or wait?
With high pent up demand from newly placed bookings along with bookings postponed from the past 21 months choosing new dates, we advise booking very early. The best prices, options and availability for 2022 weekends are reducing fast, so booking early secures best prices under our Covid cover!
