If your booking is affected by Covid-19, Freedoms Covid Cover gives you comfort and safety by offering you choices which you can make 5 days prior to travel:

1. Change of location
2. Change of activities
3. Postpone your entire package to a new date
4. Full credit voucher for another event (any date, location, or activities)
5. Cancellation with a full refund*

*Refund option is conditional on balance payment being made on time, applies to activities cancelled by COVID-19 and should you wish to cancel more than 5 days prior to your event then normal cancellation policy applies.

Coronavirus Update...


Freedom continue to monitor the current situation regarding Coronavirus, Covid-19. We are regularly speaking to our teams in our UK and overseas destinations and we are following advice given by The Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FOC), Public Health England (PHE) as well as guidance offered by travel regulatory bodies.

In the UK while lockdown measures are easing, there are currently still a few restrictions in place which prevent a few activities from welcoming larger groups.

Our customers money is placed in a Fully Bonded HSBC Client Account until after you have enjoyed the weekend or activities you have booked, so take confidence that you are protected and in safe hands. Other weekend companies have not been so careful and are no longer trading leaving customers in a very difficult position.

As of 7th July, Freedom have reopened our telephone lines so existing customers and future customers can receive our service and advice for weekends and activities.

We are incredibly busy with a high volume of new customer enquiries and bookings. Our team is working from home and adapting to current situation whilst we all head back to some kind of normality. We are committed to helping all our customers and we would ask you to be patient while we give everyone the service you deserve. Sometimes lines are busy but you can leave a message and we will call you back.

Booking early is strongly advised as 2021 is already very busy. A huge number of wedding cancellations for this year are now next year so the weekend has moved to 2021 so already dates are filling up.

If you have an existing booking you are able to contact us via email on sales@freedomltd.com or via your Freedom VIP area and we will reply as soon as possible. Please note that during this incredibly busy time, we will only be able to respond to the Group Leader. If you are a group member, please direct any questions through your group leader.

Existing Customers...


Groups travelling from July 7th onwards are still going ahead as planned and you should follow booking terms and balance deadlines as normal. For groups affected by the travel restrictions, we would like to reassure you that your money is safe and held in a fully bonded HSBC Client account. We will hold your payments as a credit against the future rearranged date. This money will remain financially protected until your new travel date.

Questions & Answers...


I am due to travel AFTER 7th July, what should we do?
Your booking is still in place and still going ahead as planned. You and your group should continue to pay for the weekend as normal. Group leaders only contact us via your Freedom VIP area or by emailing sales@freedomltd.com. Response times may be slower than normal so please be patient.

My final balance is due, should I pay as normal?
Yes, if your weekend balance due date passes without payment you could put your booking at risk and lose everything you have paid. It is important to remember that if your balance payment doesn’t reach us by the balance due date, we reserve the right to cancel the booking.

The Wedding is postponed, can I change the event date?
We are here to help you to postpone and rearrange your weekend to fit with the new date for your wedding. You will still want a weekend to celebrate. If you do not know the date yet then with the Postponement Credit in place, we will provisionally move the weekend to a date later this year and when you know the date you can let us know and we will change. All usual terms will remain in place. Changes are subject to availability and price discrepancies.

Will my event be safe?
Rest assured we are in regular contact with our UK and overseas hotels and suppliers who are ensuring that they are making the necessary adjustments and doing full risk assessments while still providing their services. If social distancing requirements means an event is unable to take place, we will be happy to arrange an alternative or postpone your activity to a later date.

I was due to travel BEFORE 7th July and my weekend was affected by coronavirus restrictions, what are my options?
We are offering every group a Credit issued to the Group Leader against a postponement to a later date in the same location or against a weekend in any one of our 47 locations within the next 12 months. We are encouraging groups to keep the same duration and itinerary but move the date. We will of course try to move the holiday at no extra cost, but this will depend on supplier terms. If the weekend is moved to a later date in 2020 Freedom will guarantee that there will be no increase in the holiday price. We would like to reassure you that your money is safe and held in a fully bonded HSBC Client account.

Should I book my weekend or wait?


Book early
Booking early is strongly advised as 2021 is already very busy so our advice is not to delay. A huge number of wedding cancellations from 2020 to 2021 have meant we have moved hundreds of group weekends to 2021 so already dates are filling up.

If you are looking to plan a weekend for later this year or into 2021, you can make an enquiry online as usual and quotes will be sent to you. We are taking new bookings for travel dates from August 2020 onwards.

Freedom has been in business since 1996 and intend to be around for another 20+ years. All clients’ money is held separately in a bonded HSBC client account, so your money is fully protected and is 100% safe.
