50th Birthday Celebrations
When I was given the task of arranging my best friends 50th, I knew it was coming but thought I will leave it until nearer the time…..hoping that time would hopefully stand still and tada it would magically arrange itself, as you would realise this did not happen and reality check kicked in.
So on to the Freedom website pampering would be an obvious answer, my colleague looked at me and said now put some thought in as pampering is too easy and a cop out!!
I am obviously not as old as 50, but it is creeping up on me so what would I like to do!! I like to spend time with my friends and catch up, we spend hours just catching up so initially we want time for us…then something fun followed by a doing activity…this should tire the old girl out me thinks!! I did not tell my friend what we were doing, I wanted to surprise her from the beginning, I even checked which trains and tubes we should be taking so we didn’t have to think just do.
I booked in a
Treasure Hunt around Covent Garden, this would give us time to talk, drink and use our brains. Wow it did not fail to deliver, it did take a good 3 hours, I am obviously not as clever as I thought. So interesting and I now realise I walk along so not noticing my surroundings and the hidden treasures that are there if only we were to look.
Wow what a packed day, but oh so much fun, my friend loved all the activities, asking when we can do another treasure hunt and already making the cakes!!
