What started as a bit of a novelty concept, the sport now boasts purpose-built courses and its own competition.
This fast-growing hybrid craze, takes place on either a 9 or 18 hole golf course, but the only equipment you need is a football and your right or left peg. The aim of the game is to finish each hole and complete the course in the fewest number of shorts. Sounds easy, but trying to battle the elements and hit the green is a lot harder than it sounds. Although if you want to ramp it up, try setting challenges such as playing ‘a hole with weakest foot’ or ‘nearest to the pin’.
When you sink a shot, how will you celebrate? A signature Tiger Woods fist pump or the Daniel Sturridge dance?
Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you will no doubt have seen and heard about Footgolf.
