Portsmouth Party Guide

I booked a ABBA dance class with freedom for my friends hen do and it was so straight forward and well organised. From booking to paying--everyone can pay direct to freedom which is fab. I received a phone call on the morning so that I could contact them if I needed. The dance class was fab... Not my usual thing but I loved it and so did everyone else. Would definitely recommend. X

Used Freedom to book activities for my sisters hen do in Portsmouth. amazing communication and didn't mind the barrage of questions that followed (sorry). We had a great time. A slight issue with one of the packages changing due to the venue being taken over however not Freedoms fault and they liaised with the venue and everything was sorted well in advance. Very happy.

Used Freedom for a hen party and it was great. The activities were all brilliant and the hotel was great. Had a weekend of fun for under £200 which was even better! The staff were great and they were very helpful and answered every question I had. Would highly recommend and definitely look to use them again in the future!

We, as a group, had the best time EVER. We chose the Bollywood dance for a Hen party and it was such good fun, and maxine our dance teacher made it very entertaining but in a professional way. She was brilliant. Also I found the Freedom webpage very user friendly and made the booking so easy for me. Thank you freedom I would def use you again x

"chocolate making activity" fantastic activity - very easy. Lasted the 2 hours as stated on the box. The chocolates turned out much better that expected. More chocolate that needed so ended up making extra creations. Some of us set up the saucepans, etc, before to save a bit of time and made it more fun. There were 20 of us so we needed lots of space Comes in a box, easy to transport as we were travelling to a house which we rented. Arrived the week before we travelled. Freedom chased the delivery for us, and it arrived the next day

"Amazing" Thank you so much for making planning a hen party so easy. Especially at such short notice. We booked a dance class to thriller- Michael Jackson and it was so much FUN. The bride and all the bridesmaids loved it!! The teacher was fantastic and made the class lots of fun! Thank you!!!!

Everything was perfect this weekend. The staff at the Marriott were amazing, they even gave us a selfie stick on check in! They couldn't have been more accommodating for us the whole weekend, booking taxi's, giving us directions and even putting up with us when we got in after clubbing and waiting for a food delivery! They even offered to try and source robes for us to go in the spa area, even though it was not included. We were sop impressed with their service. Abi our bollywood dance teacher was amazing! She was so much fun and really held the groups attention, which must have been hard as there were 19 of us! Thank you for all your help throughout the booking process, we will definitely be recommending you for any future hen parties! Unfortunately there was only one down side which was at Tiger Tiger. When we arrived for guest list, we were told we were not on the list. When I told who we were booked through they let us in, but then asked us to pay as we were a third party booking. It was fine, after pulling up our booking on my phone I eventually managed to get us in and not pay. But I thought you might like a heads up that they were quite rude and unhelpful about the whole situation. Which meant we spent a good 15mins out in the freezing cold whilst we were trying to sort this out. Thank you for everything! Nicole x

I booked the treasure hunt for Portsmouth for 20 girls on a hen do, which is self-run and all contained within an A4 pack - all you need is to be split into teams of up to 5, each with a mobile, a camera and a pen! It took about 3 hours and was the perfect activity to have lots of fun, see a bit of the town, chat to some random locals and get mega competitive. We were each wearing sweatbands in our team colours and the locals were fantastic at letting us know when another team had already been past! This one was split up into 6 zones, with 3 or 4 questions per zone around statues and signs etc. It's all doable on foot though you do cover quite a distance, so it is pretty tiring. Great for everyone as well because you could totally cheat and sit in a pub Googling some of it if you wanted to, or split up your teams to make it faster. The extra challenges to earn bonus time, eg. photograph your whole team with a street performer, made it even more fun and we're going to have some great photos to share. Would recommend to anyone.
