Reach for your race helmet and you Newcastle Karting Queens will need to get ready to burn some rubber. The championship circuit is considered to be one of the most challenging in the UK with very fast straights and tight technical corners to negotiate. It's all about a consistent driving line and smoothness. It's 1200 metres long and, unlike many circuits, there are plenty of overtaking opportunities.
PRACTICE TIME 15 MINUTES - The Grand Prix session starts with a 15 minute timed practice. Fastest Lap times from the practice will determine the grid position for the race with the fastest driver starting on pole.
RACE DURATION 30 MINUTES - The race consists of a 30 minute head to head race with the winning driver being first to cross the finish line and receive the chequered flag after 30 minutes.
All drivers will race in our fleet of 390cc Sodi Karts which can reach speeds of up to 60 mph on the straight, with up to 30 karts all racing at once (do you have more than 30 people in your party? Don't worry we have race formats to cater for this to, just ask!)
