Race 150cc Sodi karts around this indoor track, just south of Newcastle city centre. You will take part in an open Newcastle Go Karting Indoor Grand Prix event.

Two formats are offered, the Open Grand Prix and 30 minute Sprint. If you have more than 12 people booked then we run an Open Grand Prix. For groups of less than 12 people we will run a 30 minute sprint.

Open Grand Prix Format
Practice Session
Heats 3 x 10 laps
Semi-finals 1 x 10 laps
Top 8 point scorers from the semi finals qualify for a place in the final
Finals 1 x 10 laps
Presentation trophies for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place

30 Minute Sprint Format
All Karts line up on the grid, awaiting the starting lights. When they turn green you are off for a 30 minute race around the track.
Racing suits, full racing helmets and gloves are provided.

Birthday Notes

Smaller groups can compete in a 30 minute Kart Sprint
Minimum age is 16 years old

Timings

Arrive by 11am for a 11:30am start - Finishing for 2pm.
Arrive by 1.30pm for a 2pm start - Finishing for 5pm.

Locations

30 mins from Newcastle just outside of Durham
Free car parking.

As a small group of men we struggled with other companies to book karting as many requested a minimum of 8 or 10. Freedom were more than helpful and after chatting with one of their representatives online on a Saturday they then rang me direct and spoke in person to confirm things. Everything was explained very easily and they contacted me again on the Monday morning to confirm all was booked and emailed the relevant vouchers. The activity was every bit as good as advertised, if not better and all went smoothly. Would definately book through Freedom again.
