Stag Wine Tasting in Edinburgh

The standard setup is to start with a welcome glass of fizz, followed by a brief session on how to taste wine like a pro.

Followed with a series of wine tasting challenges, where you will taste all of the wines blind (ie with their labels covered up) and usually in pairs. Each pair of wines would have a different theme (eg cheap wine vs expensive wine, new world wine vs old world wine, young wine vs old wine etc) and guests would divide up into teams and have to work out which wine was which, guided by some tips from the host.

It's good fun, but also very inclusive. Suitable for people with all sorts of different levels of knowledge and interest in wine; this works really well as it gives the novice as much chance of getting it right as the seasoned wine drinker!

You will sample 9 different wines.
