You’re visiting the historical home of Robin Hood, even before opening this page you knew that Archery would be involved. However, with Nottingham Target Sports it is so much more than that.

We have not 1, but 3 fantastic activities for you to try your hand at and master. All of which take place in Sherwood forest, giving you the perfect environment to show your precision.

Archery – Draw back, take aim and release. Sounds easy, but when you have to compensate for the weather (and perhaps shaky hands), hitting the bullseye is a challenge.
Combat Archery – Its one thing being able to hit a still target, but can you hit your mates as they run and hide behind obstacles. This activity is Archery meets Dodgeball (completely safe of course) and you need to be fully aware of your surroundings to ensure you’re not on the receiving end of a barrage of arrows.
Knife throwing – This one is truly in the wrist action, and once you’ve got the technique mastered, you’ll be hitting the target with your eyes closed (although not something we recommend).

With each activity lasting around 40 minutes each, your skills will well and truly be put to the test. The question is when it’s all said and done, will your shooting have been like that off Robin Hood or Maid Marian?
