Your Cardiff Boys ToysQuads:
Cross country quad bike challenge. Experience the thrill of being on 200cc Honda Bikes, whilst taking in the view of the Rhymeny Valley.
The activity site is a farm just outside Cardiff, with a trek out through the countryside on the 340 acre in the South Wales valleys. Your group will start off on a practice circuit, getting used to the bikes before deciding which parts of the farm they should be. From the circuit it's onto flat fields to practice gear selection and then onto a trek through the rest of the farm for the remainder of time. Lots of fields, bumpy tracks, woodland etc. There are different bikes to suit different people.
Your group are on the bikes for 1 hour. Groups of 16 or less will all go out together, larger groups will be split in half and swap then over.
Laser Clay Pigeon Shooting:
A real test of your shooting ability. So the session runs with 5 people shooting at the same clay at the same time and the computer takes the scores. It means there is not so much standing around, waiting and watching which is always a good thing.
OUTDOOR is an electronic way of enjoying traditional clay pigeon shooting. Players use modified shotguns to fire laser beams at clays flying through the air launched from an electronic clay launcher.
INDOOR involves players shooting at different targets that light up at randomly inside our big barn; so whatever the weather you can enjoy the fun of Laser Shooting!
The digital scoreboard generates the shotgun 'bang' and when a player hits the target it reproduces the sound of a breaking clay, the player with the highest number of hits wins!
Always thought you could emulate Robin Hood?
Well here's your opportunity. You need to know that it's not as easy as it looks, so don't laugh too wildly as your friends miss, because then it's your turn.
Raise the bow, get the target in your sites, steady the arm - bulls eye.
An ancient traditional sport, and a proven winner for all group parties. The Grand National Society Coaches teach proper techniques in this fun beginners session. There are various bows and arrows to suit different people. Start with tuition and practice from the instructor and then finish with a scoring round. This is 1hr-1.5hrs for up to around 15 people.
Ask about swapping Laser Clays for the real thing.
