You and your team there at Freedom are diamonds. I shall be writing a letter of thanks and praise to your senior management once the stag party has finished, your customer service has been nothing short of world class. You all deserve a big pat on the back and once again thanks for all you have done.

NORWICH STAG WEEKENDS
So you and the boys are considering a stag party in Norwich? Good choice we say and so would encourage you to choose FREEDOM. Let us organise you and the rest of your mates with the most amazing, memorable and just as important stress-free stag weekend in Norwich.
Set in the heart of East Anglia this city is England personified. Yes we’re talking history – bags of it. Architecture that is bound to impress all, beautiful heritage to take your breath away, all mixed up with a modern culture that welcomes all you stag party Norwich boys.
It’s really quite intriguing: a combination of the most complete medieval city in Britain coupled with modern sophistication and vibrant nightlife all geared up to greet you.
‘Welcome to Norwich A Fine City’ the signs say to all visitors arriving. ‘A Fine City’ is how George Borrow described Norwich back in 1851, whilst Nikolaus Pevsner the architectural historian more recently complimented the city in 1962 by proclaiming it had everything.
We keep saying City as indeed Norwich is, however more than one visitor has commented that it feels much more like a town. Maybe that’s attributable to the centralised pub area with bars aplenty, cool clubs and a thriving café society.
This city knows how to party …. It has to it’s the only party venue in Norfolk. So Norwich has risen to the challenge. It’s ready, willing and able to host your Norwich stag parties.
Norwich is undoubtedly renowned for its Cathedral that dominates the skyline, for its intricate network of winding streets and the splendour of the Norman Castle. However, here’s the good bit: it’s the culture, buzzing nightlife, year round programme of festivals and dynamic entertainment that give the city a real cosmopolitan feel.
Norwich claims to have all the vibrancy of a major city with none of the stress, we think the River Wensum flowing through its centre helps to achieve this. Sounds so appealing for stag nights in Norwich doesn’t it?
Norwich has over 30 medieval churches. Many are still functioning but just as many have been imaginatively converted to other uses.
Perhaps you’ll indulge us as we try to give you a very brief history of this interesting city. It has had a famous market since the Norman times and that’s still going strong. The City and the surrounding area is known for its production of worsted cloth (named after a nearby village).
In the mid 16th century experienced cloth workers from the Netherlands were encouraged to share their knowledge. Businesses grew and many merchants became prosperous sparking the Gurney brothers to found a bank that is still part of Barclays today.
Norwich managed to remain little affected by the industrial revolution and built its reputation on the manufacture of quality cloth and so continued to remain successful.
Brewing was an important industry in the city and we feel this may be important information to you, so check out our pointers on the Day page. Maybe a little less interesting to you is that Norwich is the home of children’s Start-rite shoes, Caley’s chocolates and Coleman’s mustard – peculiar mix!
Some will say think of Norwich and think of Delia the Queen of the kitchen. Love or hate her. Yes celebrity cook Delia Smith is Norwich’s most famous adopted daughter after her involvement with Norwich City Football Club, but maybe after her infamous outburst at one match they may want to change that!
Others will be reminded of that old Valentine card favourite: Nickers Off Ready When I Come Home. Come on boys admit it, you’ve thought it if never actually dared to write it to your loved one!
A historical figure well known to all would be Nelson, he was from Norwich and learned to sail on the Norfolk coast.
We do though wonder if most people associate Norwich with the Norfolk Broads. 200km of unspoilt navigable waterways, the English countryside at its very best!
We hope we can entice you on Norwich stag nights, there’s so much more to learn about this famous venue
So boys…. this city has everything and more than you could possibly hope for, so many different options for a stag night Norwich. There is so much potential that FREEDOM can realise. It’s so easy, simply follow the step-by-step approach on this site to guide you through.
