The surfing capital of the UK. Newquay boasts some of the best beaches on the North Coast and is crammed with enough pubs, clubs and bars to rival Ibiza. This Cornish Town is the perfect place to let off some steam and party till the early hours.
HOW TO GET TO YOUR STAG PARTY IN NEWQUAY
It has to be said that Newquay isn’t the most handily situated place to get to but we guarantee you will be having such a great time once you are there you will realise it was well worth the journey.
If your party of lads are travelling from all parts of the UK then Newquay airport is probably the best route to use. All the major airports including Manchester, Leeds Bradford, Bristol, Cardiff, Dublin, and Birmingham have flights to Newquay.
Routes include Flybe.com, which operates from Belfast, Glasgow and Birmingham. BmiBaby flies from Manchester and Ryan Air from Stansted to Newquay. BA.com flies daily to Newquay from London Gatwick.
Or why not check out Cornwall’s very own www.airsouthwest.com, which regularly flies from Bristol, Dublin, Glasgow, Leeds/Bradford, London Gatwick, Manchester, Newcastle and Plymouth to Newquay.
With the cheaper airlines flights can cost from as little as £30-00 return.
Once there, hiring a car is no difficulty with local firms at the airport or you can book on-line through www.europcar.co.uk and www.hertz.com. Always a good idea to book on-line as the offices may not be open if you arrive outside normal trading hours.
You may decide you don’t want to hire a car for use during your trip – Newquay is fairly easy to navigate on foot so why not book a taxi straight from the airport. Unfortunately the taxi rank has been removed from the airport so you will need to book in advance of your arrival – but this is ideal because if you book online with NewquayNetTaxis they’ll give you a discount. You can find them on www.newquaynet.com and follow the link for Book Taxi Services or call them on 0792 8825668.
