We, at FREEDOM, hope you’ve got stamina because, boys, you are going to need it!! Newquay never sleeps and so we thought we’d put together a top night out for you on your stag nights in Newquay.
First off, let’s get some food – it’s going to be a long night and you need sustenance. There are some fabulous bars and restaurants serving quality food round the clock. For a top meal out why not book into Jamie Oliver’s famous Fifteen restaurant and training academy situated on the beach at Watergate Bay. With Italian inspired food and classy interior décor it really is a hot night out. All the profits go to the Cornwall Foundation of Promises, which, like Jamie, creates real careers for struggling youngsters. Just make sure you book well in advance.
If it’s another celebrity chef you’re after you could head out of Newquay a short drive north to one of Rick Stein’s 4 renowned seafood restaurants at Padstow or you could stay local and try out Finn’s, on the harbour at Newquay, for some locally caught seafood.
If you prefer to stay on the beach why not head for the Lusty Glaze Restaurant fabulous for lunch, dinner and tapas and BBQ beach parties. So good, in fact that the Observer voted it one of the top 5 best beach shacks in the World.
Fancying a little Mexican food? Senor Dicks Mexican Theme Bar, East Street, is perfect and very popular. They serve a full range of Mexican food plus a choice of chargrills, burgers and excellent vegetarian options, which means everyone is happy on your stag night Newquay.
Superb French cuisine and excellent wines can be found at the family run La Rochelle Restaurant in the Hotel Victoria, East Street, serving everything from Coquilles St Jacques to Fondant au Chocolat all at very competitive prices.
If Indian food is more your thing then the Maharajah Indian Restaurant, Cliff Road, is very impressive with its stunning views out across the Atlantic. The décor is sophisticated and immaculate and with an extensive vegetarian and vegan menu it suits everyone. For all this it is also very reasonably priced.
But guys, let’s get cracking because there are some seriously great bars and cool nightclubs and hot chicks to check out on your stag night Newquay. You could head back to the Chy Bar and Koola Club, Beach Road where Latin funk on Fridays and Soulful house on Saturdays are regular slots or what about the Sailors Nightclub, Fore Street, one of Newquay’s most popular venues. It has a pub of the same name next-door and plenty of bars and dance floors on different levels. Sailors regularly holds “skools out” discos so don’t forget to pack your old school tie!!
Newquay attracts a lot of Aussies for the surfing - so make for the Walkabout Bar, The Crescent, for everything Aussie and you might just find your very own Sheila on your Newquay stag nights. They have great food and drink promotions and you are bound to receive a warm welcome!!
Berties on East Street is more mainstream and tends to favour current chart hits, R and B and hip-hop with some 70’s and 80’s in its 3 rooms. It has an excellent atmosphere, regularly holds beach parties and foam parties and with top London DJs it’s a definite to put on your list for your Newquay stag nights.
As with lots of nightclubs in Newquay many offer bars and cafes, as well as dance floors so you will probably want to stay for much longer, this is very true of Buzios, a contemporary bar and sophisticated nightclub opposite Senor Dicks on East Street. Barracuda, Cliff Road, also offers a large venue and holds karaoke evenings, has live gigs and a real party atmosphere, perfect for your stag night Newquay.
