Stag in London | Stag Night London | Stag Party London
DURING THE DAY ON YOUR STAG WEEKEND LONDON
Come on now lads, prepare yourselves to eat, drink and be merry at any time of the day on your daytime stag party London extravaganza. Stacks to ensure that the stag will have many, albeit fuzzy, memories of his last free weekend
First to mention is how to get around the city. The options are boundless. You can choose the usual modes of transport – buses, taxis, tubes and trains in abundance – or be more adventurous on maybe the Open Top Double Decker bus tour or the Red River Rover sightseeing tour where, with an open ticket, you can hop on or off, allowing you to explore the sights on your London stag weekends at your own pace. These offer an entertaining commentary, useful if you’re new to the city.
Depending on your budget, you could even sightsee in a helicopter on your stag weekend in London, though the London Eye - the highest viewing platform in London - will certainly be a cheaper option, taking its passengers 137 metres above the River Thames. The views over Westminster and beyond are unbelievable.
Since the attractions in this fabulous city are unrivalled, we would encourage you to make some time for site seeing. Buckingham Palace, the best-known royal palace in the world, is the official home to our Royal family and the Royal Standard flag flutters over the east front when Her Majesty the Queen is in residence. Just stand and admire, or walk the Queen’s corridors and gardens during the months of August and September, in the footsteps of many of the world’s state leaders. Then either take a walk in the grounds of St James Park, which is the oldest Royal park and is surrounded by St James Palace and the Houses of Parliament, or stride up The Mall, the setting for many ceremonial parades and national celebrations.
Richard says
The stag and guests had a great time on the pedibus and it was a huge success, I managed to get on it myself in the end.
Thanks for all your help in organising the stag do.

We enjoyed the following activities:
Bike Tour
At the top of The Mall, enjoy a well earned rest in Trafalgar Square, joining Admiral Lord Nelson as he surveys this busy tourist square from his vantage point 51 metres above. Pop into the National Gallery, home to one of the largest collections of Western European paintings in the world, where entrance is free and you can be inspired by famous works from Leonardo Da Vinci, Van Gogh, Monet, Degas, and Rembrandt to only mention but a few. Surely even the most uncultured stag will enjoy the famous works of these artists.
Whilst on your travels, you might like to have some chill time in the famous Hyde Park, where a vast array of outdoor pursuits takes place and which boasts the Speakers Corner and Serpentine Lake. Dangle those weary feet in the fountain.
If you have any energy left, you can travel across the centre to Tower Hill on the far side, where you can find over 1000 years of history within the grounds of The Tower Of London. Meet a Beefeater and see where Anne Boleyn met her tragic fate on the scaffolding on Tower Green.
Well, now we guess it’s time to get real – enough of the culture, what about sport and beer! Well, in our capital city these are in abundance for your stag nights in London.
From football, rugby, cricket and tennis, to more unusual sports on skates and skis, London is host to a wealth of sporting events. Tours can be enjoyed at many of the capitals infamous sporting arenas, including premier football clubs, Twickenham Stadium/Museum and Wimbledon Lawn Tennis tour.
For football fanatics, London boasts 11 professional clubs, including the world-famous Chelsea, Tottenham, West-Ham and Arsenal, and two championship stadiums, home to Crystal Palace and Queens Park Rangers. It is also the birthplace of our national hero David Beckham, whose face, designer labels and cockney accent are recognisable to all.
For you rugby boys, on the union front, London is home to premier union teams Harlequins, London Wasps, Saracens and London Irish. For these supporters, be extravagant and enjoy an international at Twickenham. The other code of rugby, Superleague has also made a home and enjoyed much success with their Harlequins side.
If cricket’s your thing, then look no further than London’s two famous cricket grounds – Lords, Marylebone and The Oval, Vauxhall.
Fancy a spot of tennis? With Wimbledon just on your doorstep, it is the ultimate day out for tennis lovers of all ages, especially after its revamp in spring 2006.
Now, whilst we’re sure you’ll have partaken of a tipple or two at the game, now’s the time to have a few pre-evening drinks at the vibrant pubs of our capital. Although many of the old traditional pubs have been allowed to deteriorate, if you hunt hard you can still enjoy a blast of the past, for example, in The George, Soho or The Lamb and Flag in Covent Garden. Otherwise, you’ll be sure to find a decent pint around any corner.
Finally, before your daytime London stag parties draw to a close, if you feel too despondent that after all your efforts of meeting someone famous in the big city have failed, why not grab a quick taxi to Marylebone and have your photos taken with a whole host of stars from Angelina Jolie or Kate Moss. The waxwork models in the legendary Madam Tussauds museum will ensure you end your daytime stag party in London with a laugh and some enviable photos to show your mates back home.
