Just to give you an idea of what a great place Bristol is here are a few famous residents and former residents of the city – well, celebrities can’t be wrong can they!?
Derren Brown, Tony Robinson, Sophie Anderton, JK Rowling, Nick Park, Carol Vorderman, Cary Grant, Jeremy Irons, Anthony Head, Damien Hirst, Justin Lee Collins, Lee Evans, David Walliams and Matt Lucas have all lived in Bristol at some stage or another.

The city is also home to a few famous musicians like Massive Attack, Tricky, Roni Size, Portishead, Kosheen, Neneh Cherry and Alison Goldfrapp. Banksy, the famous and controversial graffiti artist who is at the centre of debate about whether his work is art or vandalism is also from Bristol.

As you are exploring the city you may find yourself in Bemmy (Bedminster), Embray (Henbury) or Taardown (Totterdown). If you are using the public transport, don’t forget to say ‘churz drive’ (cheers driver) as you hop off the bus!
