Maybe a little Real Ale would go down well. The Goat and Tricycle amusingly claims to be a ‘real ale haven in the sea of lager’, whilst the Royal Oak on Poole Road is a regular CAMRA winner.

Crank is the newest nightclub to Bournemouth, a home for Bedbug, its one of the south coasts biggest club nights for electronic music and has the mother of all sound systems.

1812 is a jazz night club set in the first mansion house if Bournemouth, it is rapidly becoming known for it’s high quality cocktails and live music.

Wiggle – well it’s all in the name! Yes you’ve guessed, this is a lap-dancing club, does what it says on the tin!

For something completely different you could not go wrong with giving the Landmarc Restaurant Theatre a go. This is a stylishly converted Grade II listed church set in the heart of the town centre. It promises diverse entertainment and something to suit all, from comedy to tribute, popstars past and present and even a little Dirty Dancing.
