PUNTING
A Punt is a square-ended boat, which has a flat bottom with no keel and is propelled using a long pole.
But you knew that already. What you may not know is how utterly relaxing and downright cool it is to spend the afternoon lazing along the heart of Cambridge.
The river Cam takes all those wanting to punt safely along its way. Top tip is to stay in the centre where the gravel makes it easier to stay away from the mud.

Punting Life - " The punter stands on the rear deck of the craft, propelling and steering by judicious use of a long wooden pole". Each punt holds up to six people.
