TRAVEL TO LEEDS

hen travel leedsLeeds is situated at the heart of the UK, making it perfectly placed for travelling and so perfectly placed to host your Leeds hen nights.

By Train

Leeds is the gateway to the Yorkshire Dales and perfectly served by a thriving international airport and one of the busiest train stations outside the capital.

When we use the term ‘busiest’ we are referring to good networks and regular services, as opposed to over-crowding, although, on an average day 90,000 people pass through. This station has just undergone a massive £245m modernisation to improve the amount of trains and, more importantly, cater for the faster trains.

To give you a rough idea it would take about 2 hours 30 mins from London
2 hours from Birmingham
3 hours from Edinburgh

By Plane

Leeds Bradford Airport(LBA) handles 2m passengers a year and the list of domestic flight destinations keeps growing, e.g. Aberdeen, Bristol, Dublin, Exeter, Edinburgh, Glasgow, London Heathrow …. We could go on, but won’t bore you, suffice to say the list is long and will get longer.

This is one of the UK’s fastest growing regional airports with continuing improvements to the terminal and runways and provides speedy domestic flights, so perfectly placed to welcome you on your hen night in Leeds.

As a rough guide the flight time from London Heathrow would be approximately (guessing its only approximately depending on back wind etc) 1 hour 15 mins, from Aberdeen 1 hour 10 mins and from Bristol just 50 mins

So all quick and easy and we’re told that public transport to and from the airport is reliable and frequent with a choice of trains, coaches, buses and taxis. Its just 12 miles into Leeds.

Leeds Bradford International Airport, Leeds, LS19 7TU, 0113 250 9696.

By Car

Leeds is at the heart of the U.K. motorway network with excellent connections in all directions. So, it’s the M1 from the south and up north or M62 across east towards Hull or west towards Manchester.

To be extra helpful we’ve even worked out the following approximate mileage and travelling time for your hen party Leeds:

London - 196 miles - 3 hours 43 minutes
Brighton - 258 miles - 4 hours 25 mins
Bournemouth - 263 miles - 4 hours 51 mins
Reading - 217 miles - 3 hours 40 mins
Bristol - 210 miles - 3 hours 38 mins
Cambridge - 157 miles - 3 hours 8 mins
Liverpool - 72.4 miles - 1 hour 18 mins
Norwich - 171 miles - 3 hours 54 mins
Nottingham - 73 miles - 1 hour 19 mins
Birmingham - 119 miles - 2 hours 15 mins
Manchester - 42 miles - 57 mins

Taxis are plentiful, so it will be easy to leave your car at the hotel and not use it again until time to leave.

Travelling by Limo is fun, all in together, have a drink on the way, music on loud and feel like celebs, this could certainly be an option for your hen night Leeds.
