THE LOCATION

This has to be one of the most attractive cities in the U.K. A picture postcard vision of England, that makes it a firm favourite with the tourists.

Cambridge was put on the map in the late 13th century by fleeing Oxford scholars; no longer happy they settled here, turning this city into a ‘lauded seat of learning’.

You’ll find the most dignified, cultured, erudite, aesthetic, (oops, been using the Oxford dictionary as reference, those scholars wouldn’t have approved) of cities to welcome you.

Current day students are demanding, they expect a great nightlife and more, Cambridge has responded.

Leading Soul Tree is a firm favourite, could be down to its wide-ranging music on the play list. The Fez Club, Ballare and The Kamber all offer a great night out.

Those inspired by this great city include: Darwin, Newton, A.A. Milne, and funny men John Cleese and Eric Idle.

There is so much more to attract visitors than the scholarly sights. Cambridge offers the best of historic and contemporary life. What could be more English than lazily punting down the river?

Wow! We had a great time. At the Mud and Mayhem - Trevor was excellent - and clearly used to having hen parties! The Hotel were great too. We felt very welcome and even though we kept the bar staff up late, they did not attempt to throw us out!

However - the piece de resistance was easily the Champagne Punt! The weather helped but the young (and bless, he really was young (18!!)) chap who was punting us down the river was excellent. Cambridge was a lovely place, everyone was super friendly (not always the case when on a hen night) and the bride to be has said that - It was everything I hoped it would be and more.

Just wanted to say a huge thank you for the FANTASTIC time everyone had at the cocktail training in Cambridge. I had kept it a secret from everyone, what we were doing, as I did not want the hen to find out and everyone had a fabulous time, it was the highlight of our weekend. If there is any way that you can pass on my thanks to the great staff at the bar then I would much appreciate it, they really looked after us and definitely went the extra mile to give us a unique, fun experience.
