Yorkshire folk are famed for saying it as it is, so don’t be surprised to hear “s**t with sugar on” to describe over-elaborate, posh food.
If you hear “well I’ll go to’t foot of are ouse” its an expression of amazement, but is often used in sarcasm.
If you get asked “were you born in a barn?”, just go and shut the door.

The whole weekend went so smoothly. We were all so very impressed with the organisation. From the fact that all 5 rooms were in a row even though we arrived on three seperate nights . The Hotel was excellent and the bollywood experience was the icing on the cake.
It was for my 50th birthday celebration, and it couldn`t have been better.
